The “Helicopter Mom” Rap describes extremely involved parents. The rapper is praising herself for being a helicopter mom; yet, she also expresses how exhausting it can be. She talks about how her kids are growing up too fast, and she doesn’t know what to do; she cries out for help.

This song is very accurate, because there are a lot of moms who go out of their way to take care of things for their children. The Book “Not Quite Adults,” describes how the mom’s job is now keeping up with their kids schedule and getting them where they need to get. Parents are also more involved in their kids’ lives now more than 30 years ago; they realize how important it is for their kids to be exposed to opportunities that will build a good resume so they can get a good job and go to a good school.
